The resources listed below are provided solely as suggestions to support the well-being of the veteran employee population at the University of Florida. The UF Employee Assistance Program and its therapists do not endorse any organization mentioned outside of the University of Florida. Please use this information at your discretion. Collegiate Veterans Success Center 

Supports UF student veterans, service members, and family members of veterans with a designated space on campus to study, socialize, and meet with on and off-campus resources in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. 

Findhelp

The mission of Findhelp is to connect all people and the programs that serve them, with dignity and ease. Find free or reduced-cost resources like food, housing, financial assistance, health care, and more.

Legal Help for Veterans

Many legal service providers offer free legal clinics in VA facilities. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has curated a list of pro-bono legal clinics across the country available to veterans.

Office of Student Veteran Services
Serves as the liaison between the University of Florida, its students and the various federal, state and local agencies concerned with the processing of VA Educational Benefits. Visit its website to explore available benefits and resources for UF veteran students. 
Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors
A national nonprofit organization that provides compassionate care and comprehensive resources for all those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one. Call 1-800-959-8277 for assistance or visit the TAPS website to explore resources, programs and more. 
Veteran Centers
Veteran Centers offer confidential help for Veterans, service members and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to find a Vet Center near you.
Veterans Affairs

A Veterans Affairs, or VA, office provides programs and health services — including mental health, financial, cancer treatments and  more — for U.S. veterans. Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website to find a VA office near you.
