Crisis Services

The Employee Assistant Program is not a crisis center, and therapists are unable to write prescriptions or meet with dependents under 18 years of age. If there is an immediate threat to physical safety, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Visit the Crisis Services webpage for an expanded list of state and national crisis services.

The UF Employee Assistance Program aims to support UF employees by providing a safe space and quality mental health and wellness resources. EAP therapists and affiliated employees uphold UF’s non-discrimination policy (UF Regulation 1.006), ensuring services are inclusive and respectful of everyone, regardless of their background or identity. Meet our Therapists

The UF Employee Assistance Program has three licensed therapists dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of UF employees. Appointments can be scheduled either in person or via telehealth. Translation services are also available for clients.

Dr. Snow has worked with populations across the lifespan in a variety of psychological and educational settings. She is a dedicated professional with a focus on addressing the needs of all individuals with empathy and respect. Her priority is to have each individual reach a healthier emotional state, with an emphasis on individualized, sensitive, empirically based therapeutic interventions and strengths-based approaches. Dr. Snow is bilingual and offers services in Spanish and English. Her areas of experience include:

• Behavior health (coping with new medical diagnosis)

Dr. Snow received her B.A. from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and her Psy.D. from Carlos Albizu University in Miami. Following her postdoc residency, she worked for Citrus Health Network in a variety of departments including the emergency room (assessment), outpatient, and most recently, behavior medicine. She has also worked as an undergraduate adjunct professor, teaching developmental psychology and social psychology at Carlos Albizu University, before shifting gears to serve as a supervisor for predoctoral practicum students at Goodman Psychological Services Center. In addition, she has provided psychological evaluation services at My School Psychologist, a private practice.

Allison is passionate about helping clients experience growth and healing through therapy. She strives to create a safe, nurturing environment where clients can reach their goals. Her goal is for clients to grow in confidence and hope, enabling them to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Allison has worked in community counseling and private practice with a wide range of adults facing various concerns, including but not limited to:

• Life transitions 
• Trauma 
• Self-esteem

Allison earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus in counseling and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. Since completing her formal education, Allison has also received training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or EMDR, therapy.

One of Devin’s greatest joys in his career is to be able to assist people on their path to healing and mental wellness. Devin’s goal is to provide a comfortable environment where he and his clients can work together to create an individualized treatment plan that, not only gets to the root of the problems being discussed but also provides evidence-based solutions that the client can use long after they leave therapy. Devin has experience working with a wide population of clientele in both community mental health settings and educational institutions. Devin’s areas of experience include:

Devin attended the University of Florida for his graduate studies, where he received a master’s degree with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy and an Education Specialist degree. Devin has also completed training in Gottman Method Couples Counseling Level I.

In his free time, Devin enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, playing pool and writing.

Eligibility

EAP therapists offer six free mental health sessions to faculty, staff, graduate assistants, non-student OPS employees, housestaff/residents, postdoc associates, and their spouse or domestic partners. Eligible EAP clients must live and be physically present in the State of Florida to participate in therapy sessions. Employees located outside of Florida can email EAP-Help@ufl.edu for assistance in finding a community provider.

Appointments

Please note that EAP visits are by appointment only. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins. To schedule an appointment and confirm your eligibility for EAP therapy services, you will need to authenticate with your GatorLink username and password. No information will be logged, and your appointment will remain confidential.

• EAP therapists are unable to provide guidance on FMLA or leave processes, including but not limited to sick or extended leave of absence. Please contact UFHR Benefits directly for assistance.
