The resources listed below are provided solely as suggestions to support the well-being of University of Florida employees. The UF Employee Assistance Program and its therapists do not endorse any organization mentioned outside of the University of Florida. Please use this information at your discretion. Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry 

The Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry welcomes any current student, faculty or staff member experiencing food insecurity. No questions asked. The only requirement is that guests provide their UFID number. 

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank
Bread of the Mighty Food Bank is a private non-profit organization that collects, sorts, stores, and distributes donated food and basic essentials to 175+ food pantries and feeding programs in a four-county service area – Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy and Union. 
Catholic Charities

For more than 46 years, Catholic Charities Gainesville has served the local communities of Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, and Levy counties with charitable services, including distributing food to those living in rural areas and providing meals to students when they don’t have access to school lunches. 

Feeding Florida
Feeding Florida, formerly the Florida Association of Food Banks, is the state’s network of food banks working to solve hunger. 
Findhelp

The mission of Findhelp is to connect all people and the programs that serve them, with dignity and ease. Find free or reduced-cost resources like food, housing, financial assistance, health care, and more.

HOPE @HealthStreet Food Pantry
UF HealthStreet and The Bread of the Mighty Food Bank have launched a food pantry open to all Alachua County residents. 
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

SNAP is the nation’s most important anti-hunger program, providing nutritional support for low-income seniors, people with disabilities living on fixed incomes, and other individuals and families with low incomes.
